The changes I made to my desktop wasn't done for no reason, it can be helpful for lots of people over the world.
How can it be helpful?
By changing the size of the icons on the desktop can helpful for people that don't have the best vision, because some people aren't going to be able to see if the icons are too small. Some people just have to look good, but its mostly helpful for with damaged vision. All the changes that I made to my desktop help people seeing it. I also moved the icons about, it helps so its not all in one place.
I put more icons to my quick access tool bar, its very helpful because after you put them up you don't have to go to the settings to get them up it will be showing at the top right of your screen, it could be helpful that has brain damage where they cant remember things after a couple of hours they learn it, so it will be up the for them and its easy to find. And it also saves a lot of time having it there because you would be working faster with up there rather than having to go to the into the setting to get it
I changed the background of the word document to blue, and it automatically changed the text to white, its useful to make the page look better and some people might find it easier to read.
Magnifier!
Magnifier, magnifier is a software that normally comes with your computer, lots of people all over the world use it specially if they have any disability or eye damage, its really useful for them because there are types of views that zooms where your mouse is going, there are a couple of type of views on magnifier and here they are, you have the full screen view, the docked view and lens view and it mostly useful for people with eye damage if they cant see propely it zooms right in for them, some people just use it because they find it easier to use but its mostly for people with disability, eye damage. And magnifier is very easy to use.
Narator. Narrator is also used by lots of people all over the world, its like magnifier buh its sound instread. Its used for people that has eye damage or even a blind person, it can be used for people that has short memory or for beginners for computer, its not the best software for that, but it takes your through steps of what your doing on the computer, its very useful it helps lots of people when their working with computers or if they cant see or if they have any damage. And its easy to use.
Other
Blind people always have problems with reading whats happening on your their screen. They could also have difficulties using imput devices such as mouse keyboard etc. instead of using a keyboard they could use a pointing device which is an essential feature for blind and partially sighted people.
People that has physically often have diffuculty in using input devices or in handling hardware or softwares. Providding means to connect an alternative keyboard would help people with a severe physical impairment. Connecting hardware devices to a computer may also cause problems if connection are not within easy reach of the user.
